Note: You can only Remove Recurrence on an event that is already recurring. Once you have removed the recurrence of an event, that event is treated as a normal event unassociated with the recurrent group it was generated from.

 

How to Remove Recurrence

Under Site Content in the primary CMS menu, select the Calendar link in the dropdown menu. Hover over a row and click an event; then select the Remove Recurrence action from the dropdown.

This will prompt the remove recurrence confirmation message.

Click OK to remove the recurrence for the event or Cancel to abort. After confirmation you will see the following lightbox to define the removal action:

 

Below is an explanation of the values in this lightbox:

Cancel this event only.	This will only remove the recurrence on the selected event.
Cancel this event and later events.	This will remove the recurrence of the selected event, and all future occurrences of this event.
Cancel all events in this series.	This will remove the recurrence of all events in the series, both past and future.

Click Remove to take the selection action, or Cancel to abort.  

 

Note: Removing recurrence will only remove the event(s) from the recurrence, which does not delete the event itself. To delete the events in the recurrence, use the delete option.
