Show All Options Overview

All calendar options can be found on the right side of a page by first editing or reviewing an event.

The Options Panel will expand into the first tab. The default tabs are divided into the following parts:

  1. Event Details
  2. Social Media Settings
  3. Optional Event Settings


Event Details

SAO_details

The fields on this area are described below:

Content Group
The Content Group selection indicates which group (staff) have oversight permissions for calendar content. Each Content Group has specified Workflows for publishing content. This field cannot be modified here.
Event Title
The title of the event. This field cannot be modified here.
Event Subtitle
The subtitle of the event (if applicable). This field cannot be modified here.
Event Start Date/Time
The date and time on which the event will begin. This field cannot be modified here.
Event End Date/Time
The date and time on which the event will end. This field cannot be modified here.
Display on Homepage
Check this box to make the event show on the website homepage. (Note, only a fixed number of events can show at one time on the homepage) 
Event Location
The venue where the event will be held (e.g. City Hall). This field cannot be modified here.
Address
The address where the event will take place. This field cannot be modified here.
City
The city in which the event will take place. This field cannot be modified here.
State/Provence
The State/Provence in which the event will take place. This field cannot be modified here.
Zip/Postal Code
The ZIP/Postal code where the event will take place. This field cannot be modified here.
Content Review
Use this field to apply a regular review schedule (Monthly, Quarterly, etc...) or select a specific review date (Custom Date). All users that belong to the workflow this goes through will receive an email reminder to review the event when the review date occurs. 

Optional Event Settings

SAO_setting

The fields on this tab are described below:

Include in eNotification
Check this box to make the event available to send as an eNotification to subscribers. You must also select a category to associate the event to.
Calendar Categories
Select one or more categories for your event, if applicable. Available categories will depend upon which Content Group ownership is selected. 
Departments
Select the department(s) (sub-unit) to which the event belongs, if applicable. 
Redirect URL
Enter the URL to redirect to in this field. Once saved, when a user clicks here, he/she is redirected automatically to the URL entered in this field rather than being taken into the details of the event. You may also click the pulldown menu to select the URL of a published page already on your website.
Redirect URL Target
If desired, change the target of where the redirect will occur. It may open in the same window or a new window depending on what option you select. 
Membership Groups Select the Membership Group(s) to which the event belongs, if applicable. This will make the content exclusively visible to those groups and require login before they are visible.

Event Registration Details

The fields on this tab are described below:

Allow Registration
This checkbox shows if you want to allow registration for this event. This field cannot be modified here.
Allow Waiting List
This checkbox shows if you want to enable the waiting list feature. Once the maximum number of attendees for this event has been registered, users can request email notification if there is any cancellation if this feature is enabled. This field cannot be modified here.
Registration Deadline
The registration deadline for this event. No registrations may be made after the deadline has past. This field cannot be modified here.
Max Number of Attendees
The maximum number of attendees that can register for this event. This field cannot be modified here.
Registration Fee
The per person registration fee. This field cannot be modified here.
Display Contact Phone
If selected, the event contact's phone number will display in the event registration details. This field cannot be modified here.
Contact Phone
The event contact's phone number. This field cannot be modified here.
Display Contact Email
If selected, the event contact's email address will display in the event registration details. This field cannot be modified here.
Contact Email
The event contact's email address. This field cannot be modified here.
Display Optional Event Message
If selected, the optional event message will display in the event registration details. This field cannot be modified here.
Optional Event Message
The event registration message. This field cannot be modified here.
